Trump is Here 2024
Poem on woes, fancies and the US elections this year
Oh, gather ‘round, ye noble souls,
And witness now what fate unfolds —
The circus that we all adore,
For Donald Trump’s back, and so much more.
He’s waltzed again into the ring,
A political gladiator with a golden wing.
With a wave of his hand and a twittered boast,
He’s back, dear friends, to “save” our coast.
It was supposed to be a quiet year,
But who are we kidding? His reign’s crystal clear.
You can’t stop the man, no matter how you try,
He’s like a bad penny that just won’t die.
The race was on, and the pundits said,
“Surely by now, he’ll go to bed!”
But Trump, you see, is full of flair,
And to him, sleep is just a dare.
He threw his hat, a shiny thing,
Into the ring with such a zing!
“Back again!” he yelled — what a refrain!
Like a rock band on a world tour campaign.
