As I reflect deep into the past few months in 2024, I can’t help but notice the rapidly evolving landscape of SEO writing. It feels like each year brings a fresh wave of strategies, tools, and trends that shape how we craft content for the web. I’ve been following SEO trends closely, and I’m excited to share the top 24 trends that I believe will dominate SEO writing this year and next year as well.

  1. AI-Driven Content Creation AI continues to revolutionise SEO writing. Tools like OpenAI and ChatGPT are assisting in content creation, helping writers generate ideas, optimise for keywords, and produce high-quality drafts faster. But as AI advances, personalisation and human touch remain essential.
  2. Voice Search Optimisation Voice search isn’t new, but it’s becoming more prominent. With people relying on virtual assistants like Alexa and Siri, SEO writing will need to adapt by using more conversational language and long-tail keywords that mimic how people speak.
  3. E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) Google’s focus on E-A-T is stronger than ever. In 2024, quality content that demonstrates expertise, is written by credible authors, and earns the trust of the audience is being prioritised. It’s important to showcase authority in the niche through well-researched, reliable content.
